Vision & Purpose

We believe that naturopathic research fosters the co-existence of alternative and conventional medicines. Only by understanding the strengths of all medical systems, can we create a truly integrative approach to health care that addresses the unique needs of each individual and achieves optimal health outcomes.

In Switzerland, the education and professional qualification of a naturopath is recognized at the federal level as an alternative medicine that can be practiced as 4 disciplines : Traditional European Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine and Homeopathy.

The purpose of a yearly Swiss international conference on naturopathic research is to :

2023 Objectives

This 1st Swiss International Conference on Naturopathic Research focuses on the “Evaluation of Personal Constitution - From Roots to Research”.

As defined by the WNF, constitution is the aggregate composition and energetics of an individual person’s spiritual, psychological, functional, and structural characteristics and includes the way in which such characteristics are composed and how they are interrelated. Constitution can be considered in many theoretical frameworks, depending on traditional knowledge and modern clinical practice including Greek medicine, dosha, iridology, tongue, pulsology, microbiota, epigenetics, psychology, etc.
